I had only 1 school paddling my freshman year of HS & because my dad believed in jeans down (shorts sometimes too), the school paddling shocked me because the jeans as you said offered no real protection. The most I ever had was one swat. But tey were still very serious business. Guys I knew had no interest in other guy's butts but it was hard not to check out the damage in the shower after someone got a swat. The school swats started about the time my home spankings ended.
