From 6 to about 17

Hand and wooden hairbrush mostly, belt sometimes.

Laziness and disobedience in general mostly. Backtalk to Mom and fighting with my siblings was a common reason too.

4. were you spanked bare?
Almost always.

5. what was your most common spanking position?
Over the knee mostly, bent over or lying on my bed sometimes.

6. what was the average number of licks you received?
No set average. Depended on offence committed.

7. were you usually spanked until you cried?
I'd usually cry especially when younger but it wasn't used to decide whether I had or hadn't been spanked enough.

8. were you spanked in front of siblings or friends?
Siblings yes definitely. Friends on a couple of occasions.

9. did you ever receive two or more spankings for the same offense?
Yes but only a couple of times.

10. were you paddled or caned in school?
No

1. 4 yrs until about 16 yrs
2. Until age 10, mostly by hand. After age hand, mostly by belt.
3. Lying, disobeying, bad attitude, getting in trouble at school
4. Almost always spanked bare.
5. When spanked by hand, it was over the knee. When spanked by belt, I laid flat on my bed.
6. Hand = 30-50. Belt = 15-25.
7. Not sure if it was intentional, but I was always crying before the end of every spanking that I remember.
8. I was spanked in front of my sister once or twice. Never in front of friends.
9. A few times I'd get punished for breaking a rule and lying about it. On those occasions I'd get a spanking for breaking the rule and then another spanking for lying. For instance, I'd get 25 licks with the belt and then stay in "time out" in my room for an a few hours before getting another 25 licks with the belt.
10. Never spanked in school.
