Roughly 5-15

My mother's right hand.

3. What were common spanking offenses?
Sometimes my mother pretty much manufactured reasons to spank me. But legitimate offenses would include things like back-talk, wilful disobedience, sneaking food or drink without permission, and getting up after bed time. I also went through a little bedwetting phase and got spanked for that (don't think that was fair, seeing as I really couldn't help it, but it happened).

4. were you spanked bare?
Yes, my mother would take my pants and underpants down and smack my bare bottom.

5. what was your most common spanking position?
Bent over. I only got put over my mother's lap when I was very small.

6. what was the average number of licks you received?
15-20

7. were you usually spanked until you cried?
I was often crying even before I was spanked (because the spanking would be preceded by some yelling and screaming, usually accompanied by random slaps to the face). However, if I somehow wasn't crying before the spanking started, it didn't take much to get me going. Sometimes though I cried as much out of anger (if I felt the spanking was unjust) as pain.

8. were you spanked in front of siblings or friends?
I don't have any siblings, otherwise who knows? Never in front of friends.

9. did you ever receive two or more spankings for the same offense?
Not that I can recall. As "spank-happy" as she was, I don't think my mother was into giving follow-up spankings.

10. were you paddled or caned in school?
Never paddled or caned. I did come perilously close to getting the strap once, and the cane twice, but somehow managed to beg my way out of those punishments. The most corporal punishment I ever got at school was being smacked on the back of the hand by a couple of my primary school teachers (who were both female). Had I got the strap or cane, that would have been from males.

#1) from about 5 till 15
#2) hand most of the time remember getting hit with a double up belt a couple of times.
#3) lying, talking back, breaking house rules, smoking, trouble at school, disrespecting my elders and anything else my parents felt that I deserved to be punished for.
#4) always bare unless in public as a "warning of what was to happen if I didn't stop my current bad behaviour"
#5) always over dad's knee mom never spanked me.
#6) no set number but until dad figured that I had learned my lesson.
#7) was usually crying before spanking started but crying never ended a spanking
#8) spankings were always in private
#9) only if I was paddled in school I would receive a spanking at home as well
#10) yes twice once in fifth grade for acting up in class and once in seventh grade for skipping class both times earned me a spanking at home
