1. what was the age range for your spankings?
From before I can remember until leaving home. I remember being spanked during a diaper change and frequently observed this happening to my little brothers. Based on later discussions with my parents I think I was about 5 months old for my first spanking (a couple of swats with a wooden spoon for rolling over). I got spanked multiple times as a 17 year old and twice after I turned 18. My last spanking was for getting drunk while home on break as a 20 year old.

2. with what implement were you spanked the majority of the time?

After age 5 it was the paddle. Before that dad's hand (OTK) or a spoon (usually diaper position).

3. What were common spanking offenses?

Disobedience, back talk, fighting with my brothers, not cleaning room/other choices, tantrums, failing to finish homework satisfactory, trouble at school, etc. Clearly depends on age: when I was three I might get spanked multiple times a day for potty accidents but its not like that was an issue when I was 11.

4. were you spanked bare?

Almost always. Other than the occasional quick warning smack, a clothed spanking always meant a bare bottom one later. Like, in public I might get a smack or two on my pants but then I was sure I would get a tanning in private. The only situation where I would get a real spanking on pants or underpants and not get it bare later was if it was for a minor offense at an extra curricular activity like choir or sports practice (but if it was school or church I was out of luck).

5. what was your most common spanking position?

Over dad's knee.

6. what was the average number of licks you received?

Unsure. Maybe 30?

7. were you usually spanked until you cried?

Always.

8. were you spanked in front of siblings or friends?

Sometimes. Most spankings were at least semi private to remove distractions, but there was no guarantee of that. Certainly, if I had got in trouble together with my brother or a friend we were likely to be spanked together. Also, if I was being spanked for hurting someone else the victim might get invited to watch.

9. did you ever receive two or more spankings for the same offense?

Yes.

10. were you paddled or caned in school?

Paddled at (christian) school, always clothed and normally just a few swats. Sunday school (different church) spanked bare/underpants with little privacy. Always got a second spanking when I got home.

Bit of an unusual survey but anyhow.
1. Spankings started probably somewhere between 3-6 (should probably ask my parents sometime to clarify) and I do clearly remember the last one got at 15.
2. The paddle was what I was always spanked with at home. However I may have been hit with a hand when really little but I don't remember exactly. I did have a taste of the belt though on a few rare occasions.
3. Common offenses which landed me a sore bottom included lying, cussing, poor behavior at school, violence with friends/sibling, late curfew etc
4. Yes I was spanked on the bare bottom at home.
5. The most common position would definitely be over the knee. Got a few just bending over an object but all home ones were bent over the knee.
6. I don't think my parents counted licks, they just spanked until they were happy with the end result.
7. Yes all spankings I remember ended with tears.
8. Yes I was spanked in front of my older brother before and yes I also got a few in front of friends. Some even by their parents.
9. School spankings were on most occasions followed up at home. If I had gotten one at a relative's or family friend's house then sometimes a second one awaited when I got home.
10. Yes I was paddled in school. All were during elementary except the one I got in freshman year.
