Subject: If everything was black and white and in accordance with MAO rules, let's compare the happenings in Illinois over the last nine years to some of our neighboring states like IN, KY and MO who should have been using the same standard contract language. Let's compare the experiences of their titleholders to those in Illinois. Perhaps contract language wasn't the problem. And I'll repeat what someone else has posted on this board already - - if that many titleholders were bad in their job, then the failure is on A.S. and her board for failing to get good judges to select the right young woman to hold the title for a year. It all still points back to failed leadership in their part.

Gee, your reply about titleholders breaking rules and not fulfilling their contract sounds like the type of year Tonia Gibson gave Fran and her Board. Tania was a phony whack job. Very telling that under FSL local directors and board members stayed for years. Only Miss Illinois to be a problem in all those years was Tania, she with hr own family prophet prdicting that she would be Miss America as God came to them all in dreams declaring it so. A little seance over the photos of the judges in the program book in the convention hall to send them the message was a great touch. But the best was once Tania got to AC 40 pounds overweight (cuz if God already picked you, no use in getting in shape right) and her parents seeing what she looked like on stage compard to the other girls calling FSL and the President and demanding them go to Tania's room to DUCT TAPE her body to make her look thinner. Guess dismissing the dream team a month before the pageant because, well y"know, the whole God thing, didn't work out so well.
