Subject: If you "neither know him nor care" then why are you posting about it here ad nauseam. And if you heard he was part of a bid you heard wrong. I AM part of a bid and we asked him to be part of ours and he refused. He also has no desire to even be on an advisory board. So maybe you should give it a rest!?

What bothers me is the fact that Doug did nothing wrong. He spoked the truth and now people are throwing false accusations at him. He was one of the early defections from the Miss Illinois board under Amalia's reign of terror and went back to Wisconsin, where he had worked before. But Amalia was constantly trying to have his badge access at Miss America blocked or have him blocked from judging state pageants. She used to talk openly about having his badge revoked, and just couldn't let it go. (NT) -- No name, 21:12:06 08/05/15 Wed That doesn't seem like a complaint about what I, specifically, said. I'm not throwing anything at him. It sounds like that was done well before he spoke out and has resurfaced because of someone's personal vendetta. I'm just saying once it's out there, it can't be ignored. It has to be addressed so it can go away. But I do agree that it's a lot to go through if one is falsely accused because of someone else's agenda, which it sounds like could be the case here. That said, how often does that happen on this board? There's a lot of mud-slinging based on misinformation, hurt feelings and personal agendas.
