IJM is great but it's not for first timers unless you hire a good coach. It's very competitive. The state is not as glitzy as nationals. Their national pageant is very glam and like mentioned above you better have deep pockets $. With that said, if your daughter is drop dead gorgeous and has a natural modeling ability and you can afford it then give it a whirl. It's a nice program. -- ILLINOIS Pageants Board
