One of the reasons cited for Amalia's group losing their MAO license was the running of unsanctioned pre-teen pageants. They are not allowed, so that's why Southern Illinois didn't have one. And I think they'd be better off abolishing the teen and sticking with the Miss, but I also suspect that Genie has left the bottle and won't be going away anytime soon. -- ILLINOIS Pageants Board
