NM" on 10:39:03 04/22/16 Fri Please note that the above message is not a message from a model that worked for Kim and actually Kim pretending to be a model. I worked for Kim in 2012 and it took her TWO years to pay me. Yes, TWO YEARS. I agreed to work again for her (big mistake) at the Bridal Expo in Chicago on September 27, 2014. I worked one full day for the Hosue of Wu and STILL have not been paid for my work. I had to contact her countless times. Then on November 29, 2015 she finally responds and asks me about some shoes she thinks I borrowed. I explained clearly I never borrowed the shoes, have never had them and that she needs to pay me Bc that situation has absolutely nothing to do with me working a day and not getting paid. She agrees and says she will send the check in the mail. Weeks go by, months go by, nothing. I try contacting her again. And again. No response. I finally take it to the online community on her FB and Yelp and she responds to me with "Keep the shoes in lieu of payment, don't contact me unless it's in court". This is illegal, fraudulent and just an excuse for her to not pay me. So now I'm gathering all evidence to bring to small claims court. Thankfully my gut feeling told me to get everything in writing and have consulted with a lawyer and have everything I need. Just paid the filing fees and should be getting a court date soon. I told her multiple times I didn't want it to come to this and just wanted to be paid, but she refused. So now I have to sue her for payment, plus fees and time off work that was spent to process this. Luckily after my lawyer reviewed our contract, emails, texts- he said this is a clear cut win. I am sharing this to warn others about working with Kimberly Triani, also look at reviews of her company Everything 4 Pageants and you will see more complaints. Take snapshots of all text conversations, only communicate via email so you have all the evidence you need, as I do. My lawyer is also looking to take further legal action by contacting other people that have had issues with her, along with companies that have worked with her.
