One of the reasons cited for Amalia's group losing their MAO license was the running of unsanctioned pre-teen pageants. They are not allowed, so that's why Southern Illinois didn't have one. And I think they'd be better off abolishing the teen and sticking with the Miss, but I also suspect that Genie has left the bottle and won't be going away anytime soon. Not everyone that got kicked to the curb was a bad volunteer and worker. A lot of valuable people went down because of Amalia., and no, they weren't board members. It was sad to say the least. Most will never be back . Lots of good, hard working people were lost. (NT)	No name	15:27:31 02/08/16 Mon
Yea, but that's also the price of hanging around and turning a blind eye when you know there's a bad leader at the helm. So while many good people may have been kicked to the curb, it's also their own fault for thinking they were hanging around for "the good of the girls". This pageant has been going downhill for years. That said, the attendance can easily be explained by the unfortunate scheduling.
