Subject: I think she should have been able to put an answer together for that question. This is like falling off the balance beam or missing a three throw to win the game There shouldn't be a reward for the way she answered that question.

In reply to: 's message, "It lowers your opinion of Miss America more than the fact that people slip through the cracks who have less education, ambition, talent, commitment to service, style and/or beauty than Miss Georgia? I'm more disenchanted by THAT. I do agree that answers like hers perpetuate an unflattering image, but all anyone would have to do is look into her talent and background. Ultimately, the public is going to believe what they want to believe no matter what. They make fun of girls who have perfectly logical answers because they don't think pageant contestants are qualified to answer heavy questions. There's no winning with the public." on 12:16:01 09/20/15 Sun

Well, we don't know what her score was for that and it counted for so little of the overall score. There's no question she did well in talent, evening gown and swimsuit. They alluded to liking her in her interview as well. I assume her preliminary composite score was high. So, that's why she was rewarded-for being a well-rounded competitor. She's done pretty well during her media tour so far and seems extremely likable, not to mention immensely talented and beautiful. She does need to slow it down and think before speaking, but she's not stupid or classless, thank the Lord! She'll recover from that answer. (NT)No name06:56:54 09/21/15 Mon

I didn't think LA or SC did well in their OSQ and each was weaker than GA in at least one area. Again, if it were based on OSQ alone, I probably would have chosen MS or AL. (NT)No name06:59:32 09/21/15 Mon
