Atlantic City, NJ – September 29, 2015 -- The Miss America Organization is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Hatfield as the new Executive Director for the Miss Illinois Organization.

Ms. Hatfield served as Miss Illinois 2007, and as a result of the scholarship awards she received from participating in the Miss America program, she obtained a Master of Science degree in Communications Disorders and started her career debt-free. She made the Chancellor’s List, graduated Cum Laude, and now works as a speech language pathologist in the Illinois Department of Human Services.

Under Ashley Hatfield’s leadership, the Miss Illinois Organization is poised to continue providing scholarship awards for contestants at the state and local levels, as well as empowering young women to strive for scholastic excellence and to serve as positive role models throughout the state of Illinois.

Ashley is joined by board members: Dr. Kyle Harfst, Dr. Ronda Dunn, Brandon Wright, Jennifer Baugher, Laura Taylor, and Dr. Whitney Lynn Marlow, Miss Illinois 2010

The Miss America Organization is happy to welcome Ms. Hatfield and her impressive team to grow the Miss Illinois Organization, and we wish them much success.
