Why would the moderator do that? Really. Think about what a stupid thing you're asking someone to do. Because there is a new ED we should just erase the past and pretendsies it never happened? There's a difference between acknowledging the past and wallowing in it. I think the OP was just asking for a positive new outlook. But your post proved that's impossible for some people to move in a positive direction, and for the board to move in a positive direction, as long as there are those who are willing to personally attack people they don't know, calling them "stupid," and assuming they've been repeatedly taken advantage of. The legacy or history of this organization isn't dependent on one voy board for its retelling. Oral tradition existed long before the internet. I agree 100%!! The issue has been addressed. Time to move on. If you're invested in entertaining this, then you're what's wrong with Illinois pageantry. Let's celebrate the good that's still in it.
