Hey Big Brother Tanner,

All of Us read with interest your ACCOUNTS OF YOUR ANCESTORS
first settling coming to the Northern Plains here in the
United States.

Once we got to reading, all of Us got exited to find out
how all of this was going to end.

Hey Big Brother what you shared about your Ancestors and the
hardships they had to endure and overcome we six agree your
story/account of them would make a great movie! No kidding!

Infact, we was discussing this and agree that perhaps you
have some money owed to you by a television company for
their copying and making into some television programs
similar what you wrote about your ancestors and their hardships they had.

We have seen on a TV Channel TBS they broadcast in the
afternoons and early evenings a show called "Little House
on the Prairie" that is based upon some books authored
and printed by author Laura Ingalls Wilder who wrote about
her Ingall Family settling and living on the prairie in
the 1880s and the hardships they had to endure, especially
her Pa named Charles Ingalls trying to farm different pieces of land they owned in Minnesota, Kansas and finally
Missouri. One the show actor Michael Landon plays Pa and
he is suppose to be star from a western TV show called "Bonanza" that is broadcast on two TV channels of TBS and The Inspirational Channel we get by satellite
broadcast in our area.

Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote about some different blizzards
that happened while she was growing up with her famiily on
the prairie and some of them were made into TV shows for
the "Little House" series.

They showed on where the Ingalls Family is celebrating
Christmas Eve all gathered in their Little House cabin
with Pa & Ma, Laura and her husband Almonso, sister Mary
Ingalls Kendall and her husband Adam and others in the family having Christmas Eve dinner and a blizzard comes and strands everyone for the night. So that they have firewood and can get to it in the barn Pa Ingalls hangs up a rope
from the cabin, runs it to the barn so whoever goes for
wood can hang on the rope and not get lost/wander from the
house area. HEY, the show Big Brother STOLE using this
idea in their show about like what your ancestors did string up a rope from their cabin to the barn so they
could go and get firewood. The snow from the blizzard in the TV show piles up to the top of the cabin roof and
Pa Ingalls goes out a second floor window wearing a pair
of snowshoes to go for firewood in the barn and return to
the cabin with firewood and Christmas Gifts that Santa
left in the barn because snow was so deep he wouldn't be
able to get to the cabin chimney too good or the front
door of the cabin was drifted shut and couldn't be opened.

Another "Little House" show was a Christmastime show
and Laura and Mary's little sister Carrie visited their
school on Christmas Eve Day when the students were making
Christmas Cards and a blizzard was moving into the area and on the way home Laura, Mary and Carrie and rest of the school children battle blizzard conditions, deep snow
and almost get lost trying to make it back to the cabin.
Finally everyone in the show make their way to the church
to ride out the snowstorm blizzard, etc.

They mention in the first "Little House" show that Pa
Ingalls built a sod house for the family to live in
their first year on the prairie, too. DID the TV writers
on the show STEAL this idea about from your ancestors
building a First Sod House to live?

The "Little House" show didn't mention any cast iron
cook stove to cook with, but the family cooked using
their inside fireplace but, in a first season Christmas
Show called "Christmas At Plum Creek" Laura buys her Ma
a cast iron cookstove at the area store for a Christmas
gift trading her pony that was given to her by Pa and Ma.

The TV show didn't have Ingalls Family building a Sod
Barn but, they did build a wood/made from cut lumber
barn to house their team of horses Pat and Mike and their milk cow.

Laura on the show had a dog named Jack when they first
settled on the prairie. Did your first ancestors settling
on the prairie have a family dog with them? If so, this
TV show stole your writing account of your ancestors.

There were a few other times in this "Little House On The
Prairie" Show on TV where family members of the Ingalls
Family and others lived under their wagon like yours did
before building a proper house. Did the TV show STEAL from
you writing about your Ancestors?

Your Ancestors settled near a creek and from that area they collected wood to use for firewood, etc.? On the TV SHow
the Ingalls settle and build a cabin on Plum Creek. They
used it for water, etc. Did the TV show STEAL from you Big
Brother about using their creek, etc.? Did your Ancestors
use the creek they had in the area for a water source?

Big Brother you accounts of the settling of your Ancestors on the Northern PLains would make a great Theatre Movie.
Who can we get of modern day actors and actresses to play
the parts of the different members of your family? To bad, too, besides having the movie about your early ancestors that the movie could show different generations of your family: great=grandparents, grandparents, parents and that
brings us to YOU, and Big Brother Brady and Little Brother
Brooks, whom can we get to play them? Who will play YOU?

Grizzly will fit in to play the Pioneer Dog of your family.
He'll work cheap too for bones, chew toys, and homemade
cookies and ice cream.

What role can we have Kala play?

So Big Brother Tanner we all enjoyed so much reading
about your Ancestors first settling to get your family
started where having land where you do nowadays. Was
your family of Ancestors some of the first settlers
then in your area of whatever state you live in?

All of our Ancestors first settled in the county we
live in, in the state we live in, some came in the
1850s, 1860s and 1870s.

(Mark): The land where my great-grandfather first came
to he settled with his wife and her brother all three
buying farmland together, and to build a house within a year.

greatpa donated a small parcel of land off from the
property to the community so a framed-board school
house could be built. Someone else in the community
down the road donated land so a church, another framed/board
building could be built. Both the schoolhouse & church
buildings still exist today.

There exists today the General Store Building that Mark,
Drew, Jake and Sean's great-grandparents shopped at, that
is operating kind of like an old-fashioned General Store
today. They sold gas up to about 10 yrs. ago and stopped
because got too expense to operate as one. This stors
rescued the Community a couple of decades ago when a Blizzard hit area and folks couldn't get into town to
buy groceries for a week when they ran low, etc. One
of the area newspapers did a BIG NEWS STORE about this
happening.

(Mark): Oh, this General Store today sells pizzas and
makes great homemade doughnuts. Sometimes when I visit
the store I think back to when my ancestors shopped their
and I'm walking in their footsteps on the same wood
floors they did. Oh, the store was a Post Office early
on, before years later when volumes of mail became too
much for them to handle a Real Building Post Office was
built to replace the service in the store.

(Drew, Jake, Sean) Our ancestors shopped that same store,
too. We try to invision them their, as we walk on the wooden floors, too.

(Cody & Hunter): We had ancestors of great-grandparents
settle in a different area of this region we live in and
have the house we live in now. They lived some 10-miles
away from Us today, and their houses and barns still
exits today, but log cabins they first settled in are gone!

And Big Brother Tanner do you have any photos of the houses,
after the SOD HOUSES were built and later replaces; besides
photos of your first ancestors settling where they did, etc.? All of Us here, rather our parents, grandparents have photos of our ancestors, etc. We have some ancestors who lived before photography was invented so, charrcoal
drawings were made of them and still exist today.

(Mark): Oh, don't forget Big Brother I'm related to two
U.S. President, U.S.Grant and Millard Fillmore. Also, a
cousin of ours is still researching but, has discovered
our family is related to Adm. Dewey of the Spanish-American War era.

(Drew, Jake, Sean, Cody and Hunter): Lucky Mark and his family related to these famous people. Hey, were related to the Bible's Adam and Eve.

(Mark): Okay guys, I am too, and so is EVERYONE else that has lived on the Earth in the past and present. I'm
proud to say I have a body-built somewhat like Adam, I
like to think.

(Drew): Yeah, sure Mark. Sure, You have a body-built like
Adam you think, just because Holly thinks you do. Oh, so
your saying Adam, the first Man, was created with a small-size butt? LOL.

(Mark): Shut-up Drew! We gotta go Big Brother Tanner...
