This is the Ancestry.com source for Ty Parvis's height and freckles.
It is only available from Ancestry.com, as far as I know. I try to post free sources available to everyone, if possible.

I contacted Ty's nephew, Don Evans, over three years ago inquiring of Ty's height; Ancestry had not yet added that info to their site. Don was probably giving the height estimate from the perspective of a youngster to whom most adults seem "larger than life".
Thanks to ANM, when Ty's death date popped up on "On This Day", I was reminded to go back and check for sources.
I found it fascinating that the Draft Card (age 26) said that his "complexion" was "freckled". That may explain why his face looks so "white and smooth" in his films: they must have used a lot of makeup to hide the freckles.
Don's wife has done a well-researched Family Tree for Ty's family at Ancestry.com.
