I did the original research on DONALD. The records show that he did NOT have a sister----just a brother 4 years older.
HOWEVER there is a slight possibility. In the 1930 & 1940 Census's his Mom's sister (GRACE E. WELLS) was living with the family in Beverly Hills. Her job was a "restaurant cook" (1930) and "egg candler" for an "egg ranch" (1940). She was 14 years older than DONALD.
GRACE is sparsely in Ancesry.com Public & Private Trees but not much info on her and no photos unless it is in a Private tree not posted for public view.

I see the resemblance in DAVE's screenshot and an Aunt related by blood could explain it. GRACE was born c. 1906.
