While we're on the subject of the two George Wardes, I've never been comfortable with either of their birthdates listed online.

George "Freckles" Warde is said to have been born in November of 1916. That would have made him five-years-old at the time of his Our Gang debut. I don't think that's right. He's clearly much older.

George "Sonny Boy" Warde, who was also known as "Sonny Loy," "Louis Cordova," and in Our Gang as "Sing Joy" is said to have been born in 1912, but he looks much younger in his Our Gang appearances. On top of that, his age as listed in casting directories from a little later on don't match the birth year.

I do wonder if someone got the two birth dates mixed up. Though George Warde isn't too uncommon of a name. For all we know, those birth dates could be for any George Warde.

Anyone able to do some further digging on this?
