CORRECTION: Fred committed suicide but NOT by "gun shot".
He overdosed on "barbiturates".

The "Brooklyn NY Standard Union" (1925 Sep 28 p.11) says "Frederick Kovent" was signed to play in "Stop, Look and Listen".
