Here he is in the Three Stooges' UNCIVIL WARRIORS (1935), about 11 years later, in a similar angle to the ONE OF THE FAMILY shot:

I also believe he is the fat cabbie seen in the Taxi Boys entries WHAT PRICE TAXI, STRANGE INNERTUBE (Cabbie #4 in the unIDs), and THUNDERING TAXIS; the newspaper article I found mentioning additional cast for THUNDERING TAXIS confirms he's at least in that short.
