Death: Heart Attack in the "NJ State House" (Capitol Bldg). Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Real name: Royal James Byron (NOT BROWN). Despite claiming an exemption for "heart trouble" on his June 1917 WWI Draft Card, he enlisted in the New York State Naval Reserve (Jan 1918-Sep 1921) and rose to the rank of "Chief Pay Clerk" and was awarded the WWI "Victory Medal" for his service and a military burial. His obit in "Variety" says he was working as a "contact man" for RKO Theaters at the Capitol Bldg.("NJ State House") in Trenton, NJ when he died of a heart attack.
