Yes. The key to realizing this was that two of her sisters, Viola and "Viv" (could be Virginia), are listed in the cast for the HL short NUMBER, PLEASE? (though they are mis-listed in the HLE as "Volk"). In the 1920 Census, Edith [sic], Viola and Virginia as listed as professional dancers.

"Our" Edyth was born in Los Angeles, California on 24 May 1903. She married Joseph Roy Agnew in 1925, and was from then on known as "Buddie." Buddie Valk Agnew died on 12 November 1960 in Los Angeles County, CA. Interestingly, like the HLE, even her headstone misspells her maiden name "Volk."
