Giggling a little, Talla nods and blushes a little at Tr'ln's recognition of the theme in her firelizard names. She'd not intended that originally, but after she'd named Stanza, her brothers had spent several sevendays teasing her by constantly adding to a list of possible names for future firelizards. They'd be surprised to learn that she'd liked their suggestions! There's no sense of recognition when the brownrider names Latroth, but Talla nods and stores the name away in her memory so that next time she hears it, there will be. I'll ask Mylanith to give me an image of Latroth later, too. "Yes, I'm Talla," she says, her friendly smile widening a trifle. Her gaze follows Tr'ln's to the firelizard for a moment before rising to meet his again, and she can't help commenting. "She's an absolutely darling little thing. I think they all are - then they get older, and start getting into mischief and making noise at all hours of the night and harassing other people.... Not that I mind, of course, and Stanza caught on to her training pretty fast," she adds quickly, not wanting to sound like she dislikes firelizards when it's anything but. Almost instinctively, she reaches up to scratch behind the drowsy gold's eyeridges, knowing Stanza will rouse and need soothing when she hears her name. Something about the first time she'd seen Tr'ln comes back to Talla, and she frowns suddenly, in thought rather than distress. "Don't you have a son?" she asks innocently, not intending to touch any sore spots. She's blithely ignorant of the real situation between this little family. "That little fellow, what's his name, Trag, that some of the older riders have sort of adopted? He's adorable," she informs him with a grin.
