Physics says that longer golf clubs produce a higher swing speed. However, swing speed changes due to 1/2" incremental changes in golf club length are not measureable. Even Chi Chi Rodriguez said that a 10" increase in driver length only gave him 7 or eight yards of extra distance. After studying the 1 Iron Golf site (www.1irongolf.com), I had my swing speed checked with my pitching wedge through my #4 iron. There was absolutely no measurable difference in my swing speed. I believe that the only reason the EQL's were a "flop" is that the golfing consumer was not ready for a change in their thinking - just like Natural Golf!
