Subject: You're so confidently incorrect. A girl most certainly can hold the same title, just not consecutively. A girl can be Miss Clayland 2022, take a year off in 2023 (or hold a different title), then compete for Miss Clayland again in 2024. Your 'weird exception' of locals adding a title so a winner of the original title can stay with the local another year WAS meant for that very purpose in a few cases. Cap City/ Franklin Co and Miss Maumee Valley, All American City & Fallen Timbers come to mind.

In reply to: 's message, "Have you ever heard of a girl winning the same local in recent times? No because once you’ve been Miss (Local Title) you cannot be it again, just like you can’t be Miss (Any State) twice. The weird exception that wasn’t meant to happen is that if a local has 2 titles then they can give the candidate a title they haven’t had before. (An example is you can be Shawnee one year and Portsmouth the next.) The reason this is a rule is that if a local ED loves a particular titleholder they can win there every other year until they age out. This is a bad look (not that Ohio cares) because it looks like it’s rigged for that girl to win there over and over." on 12:20:38 07/23/22 Sat

Hannah Zimmerman was Miss Miami Valley in both 2016 and 2018. Baylee Joy Martin is currently Miss Portsmouth and she also held that same title in 2019.
