Subject: Olivia is well known to give backhanded comments on what other girls are eating (very "body neutral").She speaks in an extremely condescending tone to others. She has spoken poorly of other girls,to which chaperones and Steven was made aware and nothing was done because it "wanted to let it play out". And now, it's been one week and she is where? She has yet to make a single in person appearance. Look. Olivia is talented and beautiful. She will do well at Miss America. But girls are CLEARLY discouraged by the way they are talked down to by who is supposed to be inspiring and welcoming. Those girls saw the Miss Ohio program they knew start to die when she was crowned. I hope I will be proven wrong. But there was no genuine kindness. I hope girls will come back to prove this wrong and not give up because the current Miss Ohio left a bad taste in their mouth.

As someone who was part of the Miss Ohio Class of 2025, I want to say Olivia’s win reflects her skill and preparedness to represent Ohio at Miss America. I’m excited to see how she embraces her year. Regarding the comments made here, I can’t speak to what was or wasn’t said as I’m unsure and I don’t condone unkind words or actions from anyone. However, in my time in the program, it’s unfortunately common for contestants to make comments about others through group chats, casual conversations, or jokes that end up getting back to people during the week or through chaperones and sometimes the chaperones themselves are the ones with comments. This isn’t something unique to Olivia or this year; it happens every year in some form. Honestly, no matter who won, you would likely find someone here finding reasons to criticize her. For example, during Stephanie’s year, many of us remember she was openly rude to contestants during the first two days of competition week, yet when she won, there wasn’t a rush to this board to tear her down. It’s important to hold everyone to a standard of kindness, but it’s also worth recognizing that negativity among contestants isn’t new, and maybe the focus should be on creating a more supportive environment overall rather than singling out one person. I’m not condoning any actions or words said or not said but let’s not single one person out when this happens across multiple people during the week.

You're defending Olivia's alleged rudeness with whatabouting Stephanie. Two wrongs don't make a right. Your being upset ppl didn't criticize Stephanie last year isn't an argument either.
