Subject: Not everyone is cut out to be Miss Ohio, yet there are lots of motivations to compete. Miss Ohio week is a nice getaway from typical life, it's fun to glam up, being feted all week as a contestant is ego boosting, and some like being an active local titleholder. Of course the 1RU comes to Miss Ohio hoping to win. Just bc she didn't take the title, doesn't mean she can't & should therefore quit! Look how far Caitlin has come & this year was fierce.

In reply to: 's message, "My question is why do the girls keep coming back over and over when it seems they will never get the crown? Emily came back after being FRU thinking it was her year and twice proven wrong. Caitlin has been competing for a long time. These girls are great girls but unless they are just in it as a hobby why keep it up? No one should ever say for the scholarship money anymore because between wardrobe and coaches (talent or pageant) they aren’t getting more scholarship money than they spend by far. I admire the girls that whether they win or lose stop competing after a couple of years and don’t keep going or pageant hop. They settle into adulthood and move on." on 23:35:04 07/21/25 Mon
