[> Subject: I'd say this is the least competitive Miss Clayland I can recall. Only one local titleholder competing, when it used to be THE pageant to win. Considering their titleholder is the current Miss Ohio, you'd think that would draw contestants.

[> Subject: Girls may not realize it, but how they show up looking at locals affects how seriously they are taken at state. Be smart. Look like Miss Ohio in front of the pageant community. Full H&M, an outfit that makes you look like a winner, and conduct yourself as a leader/ the one to watch off stage as well as on. Olivia is expected to show up early & be looking fabulous to appearances, so if a potential contestant can't be bothered to do that at a local, she's showing she's not ready or willing to put in the effort as Miss Ohio.

[> [> Subject: Better yet, if you are not competing or passing on a title, there is no reason to go to the local. You can support your friends via call or text from home.

[> [> [> Subject: What? Are you familiar with pageantry? Of course girls go to locals. It makes sense to see if they put on a decent program. And also to learn by watching competitions.

[> [> [> [> Subject: If you have been a contestant for any number of years, you already know which locals are worth your time. Name a former Miss Ohio within the last 10-15 years that went to watch every local before she was crowned! You don't score any extra points by going to watch and you learn very little.

[> [> Subject: Nope. I don't see her winning Miss Ohio because she doesn't really improve, she only reworks things. Different gown, some version of singing dancing theater talent & the same styling. Given the rising talents in Ohio, there will always be that one girl who decides it's her year & will outshine what Lucabella's bringing.
