There are less kids in general, look at schools closing after the boom of the last 30 years.

Then look at how kids have to specialize in sports at like 8 or be left behind. There's no room to do more.

We are a different region, so we have way too many competitions, everything is a second chance, and the judges are all the same. Not to mention the fees are going up for a number of reasons there too.
