Subject: Why have numbers declined so much? i have a friend with a top show dog and she said that the Covid problem wiped out most of their competitions and many have not come back.

Is there any way to promote Irish dancing as the numbers are so small now. I'm grateful for every teacher who has slugged it out during the past difficult years.Kudos to teachers and kids who slugged it out with videos!

What if our parents/kids posted more pictures on Facebook? I saw some beautiful pix from the last feis.

How else can numbers revive?

The art form is so beautiful and hope it can be expanded to more kids and more families.

I especially noticed that very few young people, say in their 30s, that were dancers, are not bringing their kids in.

In some cases our dancers do not have kids or families and are stil single. I also know everything is so expensive now as well. Just life in general has become so expensive.

The marriage rate is at an all time low and the birthrate among US citizens is at an all time low.
