Without assuming, Wizzardofozz, that you somewhat rambling, incoherent, inarticulate post was aimed at me, I can assure you that everything I have written is completely true! I have been honest to the point of actually admitting and stating that I never actually saw a bare bottom spanking at school. I 'merely' heard them! And all but the one I heard in the Elementary Principal's office (which was a genuine and factual account to the extent that I remember all the circumstances and details very clearly to this day) were in preschool and kindergarten, where two middle aged spinsters gave mild bare bottom spankings to very young children! Some of these, - which were just half a dozen or a dozen slaps on the buttocks - in my opinion, could hardly even be classified as proper spankings. Hardly embellished and sensationalised stories of attractive, young, mini-skirt clad women - and I do remember in the Sixties that there was an influx of younger women entering the teaching profession - with kids and/or teenagers dangling over their knees getting the bare bottoms spanked. I remember some of the younger female teachers putting elementary grade children across their laps for a smacked bottom. But these spankings, at least the ones I saw, were given over underwear (boys) and panties (girls). Again if I had wanted to fabricate anything or embellish any stories I would have used a lot more poetic license and creative imagination!

At home, realtives and friends houses, etc... things were very different! Bare bottom 'spankin's and whuppin's were the norm! This was the South in the Sixties and Seventies! I strongly suspect that the rest of America was not that much different either! If others remember things differently to me, fine! But in conversations with many folks my age, and some a little older and some a little younger also, they invariably remember things they way I do! Spankings in my community and much further afield as well, were often referred to, as 'spankin's, scorchin's and 'blisterin's' Whatever the terminology and vernacular, it amounted to the same thing; a pair of butt cheeks that had had every aquare inch of them 'soundly tanned'! Two hot, throbbing sore and tender mounds of 'jello'! lol Though you certainly never laughed after a spanking or whupping!
