Subject: In '72 the Daily News back page reports 'LIONS 44-CHRISTIANS-0" and to me and many, that was a start of a rivalry. Today one of the most looked forward-to games at CU is FU. I think there is a Rivalry on both sides.

In reply to: JoltinJoe 's message, "A rivalry, to be genuine, has to be felt on both sides. Unfortunately, we have very little history with Columbia, but a rivalry could develop. We do have long histories with Holy Cross and Georgetown. But HC's historical football rival was BC, and many Crusader faithful have a hard time letting go. I think we are more of a respected opponent than a genuine rival to HC. I don't see us ever replacing BC in their hearts and minds." on 07:33:36 04/28/05 Thu
