From The Gazette (12/18/03): Brandon Hawkins, Gwynn Park, senior, linebacker -- Maintaining the Brandywine school's tradition for top linebackers, Hawkins was among the top tacklers in the county with 149. He also had an interception and nine sacks, helping the Yellow Jackets (11-2 this season) to a fourth consecutive visit to the playoffs. No, “Andy” posted Maryland -- the link is at the end of this message. The only “Brandon Hawkins” from Maryland I can find on the ‘net is an ’04 graduate and committed to Hofstra last year. Okay, just found a “Brandon Hawkins” from “Gwynn Park” on Division II Cheyney’s roster. He could be a transfer. He verbally committed to Hofstra last year… not sure what happened. (NT) -- ramMan, 20:36:10 01/31/05 Mon

Gents: As a result of a search I found the article with the Hawkins to Fordham reference and immediately cut and pasted it. When i went back to confirm the date, I couldn't find the article so I checked your roster. Not seeing Hawkins' name I assumed it was for this year. I just found it again, but it's from last year. Here’s a link to the 2nd article. It states that linebacker Nathan Booker of Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Greenbelt, MD) has narrowed his options to Duquesne, Elon, Fordham and Navy. It also states that two players from Parkdale H.S.
