Subject: James Madison is a public school (not "land grant", however -- *LOL*) with a total undergraduate enrollment of 14,000+. According to the Princeton Review, its Average SAT is 1162 (Fordham 1212) and its Admissions Selectivity Rating is 93 (Fordham 94).

The commonwealth of VA's public university system is a good one. In addition to UVA the system is full of good schools like JMU. When I lived in DC, I worked w/ several JMU grads -- all bright. Also know a guy who used to teach finance there. If they employ people like this guy as professors, then they're doing something right. (NT)bfg18:10:25 12/18/04 Sat
