What ever happened to Fordham using the Patriot League to "rub noses with the Ivies"? That was the main premise for joining 20 years ago. And it's come to this? After 2005, we play one lowly Ivy League team per season, Columbia. The schedules are a disgrace. Let's make our opinions known to Fr. McShane on moving to full scholarship 1-AA football in the A-10/CAA.

The Patriot League folly should end asap. Let's go play some real football.

BEATING NORTHEASTER UP THERE in 2002 to put us in the final 8 should have been used as a HUGE stepping stone to an upgraded schedule; we have gone in REVERSE; it is SICKENING; and if the football coaches are part of this, as they MUST, they are playing the same crappy political game at this level as goes on above; schedule losers so you don't hurt your overall record and try to win the league title; that's pathetic; i am disgusted and will absolutely discontinue buying season tickets; Fr. not only that, but look at the attendence for games v. Post and UNH -- they're awful for the simple reason that fans want to see us play good competition not crappy teams from the NEC. Our long time supporters have been insulted by this and as someone who's begun to support the porgram, I have to ask myself why keep doing it. We're clearly not trying to improve the program.
