*It was her turn to be taken completely by surprise. She threw herself flat on the ground, but there was no way she could have escaped totally. His sword dug into her face. She winced momentarily; the cut had gone deeper the others. She cursed herself inwardly at her failure to recognize his attack, but he had pulled it off impressively, as well as she herself had done hers. A little thrill of pride set the perpetual smile back on her face. She realized for the first time how difficult it was to fight while laying on the ground...a chuckle bubbled out from deep inside of her...she must look absolutely ridiculous, laying on her back and parrying his thrusts! She rolled quickly to her feet and started fighting again, thrusting, parrying, thrusting, parrying, and squinted in the incoming darkness. Still she fought, but was unable to see a thing, fighting totally by instinct. She would glimspse the glint of his sword every once and a while, but even her keen elven sight could not help her in near-darkness. She called to him* "Dalamar, I don't know about you, but I'm tired and totally blind in this light!! Shall we call it quits for tonight?"
