Leonard and Yo-Yo you guys bring up excellent points. Yo-Yo I agree that Miss Universe is a business first and Trump is a businessman but to say that they crown immature 18 years old and that is the mold I don't think is quite correct. I think that it is more of a Latina thing since the ratings for Miss USA and Miss Universe are both down here in the States and Miss Teen USA isn't even televised anymore, hence Telemundo and the big money they garner behind them in ads and all the specials leading up to Miss Universe. You have to keep your'money' and target audience appeased.

This is why I believe that Gabby would do so well in Sao Paulo. If she wins next Saturday (fingers crossed) take off that Trinidad and Tobago sash and tell me what part of the world she is from??? That is what I like about her. She to me looks like she could be representing any of those South, Central American or Spanish speaking Caribbean countries that are soooo essential to Trump's business that is Miss Universe. I really do think that if she goes to Brazil that Gabby will be a huge press fav but we also need her to be a fav of the Miss Univerese org as well. I looked at how she charmed Julia Morley at Miss World with the honey and butter voice she has and I believe that she can do the same in Brazil. She reminds me a lot of Kenisha Thom in that aspect, USING THEIR BEAUTY AS WELL AS CHARM to their advantage.

As for height, most if not all of the contestants lie about their heights. Xiomora I believe is 5'7 and Miss USA 2009 said she was 5'9 and turned out she was only 5'5 so I believe if you can work that stage you don't hv to be 5'10 just project that you are and it will work for you.

Congrats to Lee Ann Forbes!! I believe that she will do VERY WELL at Miss World. Lee Ann has said that she used this pageant for experience for Miss TnT Universe so we will see and I hope she does go for Miss TnT Universe in the future as she is only 21 years old. I see that Peter Elias is a special liason and I hope that he does encourage her to try out. I believe to that if Gabby wins he will be helping her as well as he and Mr. Lee are good friends.
