For such a small country, I think we should just choose 8 ladies to compete for the 2 titles. Nonetheless, Lee Ann Forbes was easily the best delegate to screen this year-Period! I finally saw the 8 ladies for MUTT on Synergy and now I have to say it -Shanequa will most likely be 4th at this year's pageant because she seems very green at this moment. She is indeed the the only diamond in the rough at this pageant. With good gym work and interview prep. I can see her as a finalist at MW next year, but for now I just don't see the sense in wasting her at MU this year (she would have less than 3 months to prepare). This means that Renee will be top 3. The top 2 for now are Greer and Gabby and it is a real fight to see who will win on the 14th. The other ladies seem like clappers all the way, but I have to say that LaTisha actually looked better than Renee. I am waiting to see how she looks in SS onstage for the final. That being said, I am under no delusions for MU2011. Let's be REAL people; from these 8 - I don't see anyone who could win MU 2011. The most we could do is place and only Gabby and Greer could be prepped in time for the int'al event. Shaniqua needs to enter MW next year and rock the 2012 international event before doing MU again. I am concerned about the height issue but at the very least I know Gabby will stand out. As I have always said, Gabby is not the typical MU body-type, but she is a way better competitor than LaToya last year. Both Greer and Gabby will be competitors but I suspect Gabby will perform better at the international event. She willhave to work really had to make the top 10 in prelims. Considering Brazil is the host, I have to say again that in my opinion everything is in place for Gabby to do the best she could for a MU competition - I think the Brazillian public will love her and the latin public will be interested in her because of her previous success at MU. I totally understand what you are saying. One thing I have to clear up about the photoshop issue though - I am glad the pageant organizations are doing profession shots. The actual point I was trying to make is that I preferred untouched pics to make judgement calls on the delegates since they tend to be a more accurate representation of the ladies. That is all I was trying to say. With photoshop, everyone tends to look beautiful. Anyways, that is why I say when I see the ladies on video/television, then I can make a better judgement call on who are the real competitors. I look forward to seeing more posts from you.
