Well apparently, no one wants to say anything about the "gown pics" of the ladies on the offical pageant site (www.missuniversett.com).
I was horrified to say the least. In my opinion Renee is the only delegate in a proper gown and it is like 10 times better than the best of the others. Gabby's gown and Greer's gowns each look like a hot mess but the thing is Gabby still manages to pull it off -if they had put any other finalist in that gown it would have been a horror.
Jessica has a very fashion forward gown that I suspect looks good while she is moving but I don't expect to see her in the top 3 because I see no boobs.
Now, I have to be honest. If these are the actual gowns that the delegates are going to wear for the finals then I have to say that franchise holder will be in a pot load of sh#t (credibility-wise) post 14th May 2011.
After Renee, the best gowns are Jessica (2nd), and then to a much lesser extent Kristy and Cherrese.
Now that being said, in terms of who actually looks the best it is hands-down Gabby. No one comes close. I hate the gown but this young lady has someting special that you just can't explain. Gabby has now returned as my #1 pic for the crown.
The strange thing is, although Renee has the best gown by a mile, I have to say the gown looks better than she does. Great face but my gosh, her body is just not impressive at all in the gown. She looks like just another pretty face that we see at MU clapping in the background. She is a good print model but this just confirms in my mind that all she can do at MU is model clothes, pose for pictures and clap.
Kristy has grown on me alot but I need to see her in SS. I know she is definitely a wonderful model but I need to see more of her physique.
Based on these abusurd pics, I would have to say that Renee is the favorite among the TTU committee. Shanequa is dressed in a 'gown' that looks like she is competing for Miss Market Queen than MUTT.
This is the point in time when I have to admit that this pageant team has literally fallen off the wagon. I really did give this team the benefit of the doubt when Jenna did not make it to the finals last year but my gosh, enough is enough. It really looks like in their minds it it "Renee all the way."
I don't see why the heck Mr. Lee thinks for one moment spening over $100,000 of taxpayer's money to send a clapper is O.K. I, along with MUorg, really don't give a flying fish about who is a model or is internationally known- Just select the best-PERIOD!
