Over the last few years that I have actually watched the MUSA pageant, it seems that any changes that is implimented at the USA final also take place at the MU competition. This year there will be one semifinalist selected by online vote. The 16 semifinalists will then be cut to 8 and then to a top 4. It will be interesting to see if there is a global vote for the MU final. Personally, I don't like the online voting system as it is full of biases.

What do you guys think?

So I looked at the MUSA final last night and I have to say that I was not impressed with the new format. The only thing I thought was a little interesting was that they placed the 16 ladies in batches for the cut to the final 8. I don't know who the heck thought that a rolling spindle (a la Las Vegas casino style)that was competing for one-third of the TV screen was O.K. Que Horror!

If they want a take-away from this pageant for MU2011, then select a top 20, place them in four batches of 5 and then cut to 10, from there call the final 5 in random order (just like in previous years).

The new MUSA looks good but is literally bordering on being the face of Anorexia Nervosa- thank goodness for breast implants and red hair dye that ensured she did not look like a skeleton. I hope the MUTT and MWTT organizations take away one thing from her EG performance- if it was not for that big attachment on her green gown, she would not have gone that far- Hats off to the designer, if he/she had done the same color gown with a total body-fitting form from top to bottom she would have looked like skeletor in green. The gown was not the best but it was certainly the right color and it really showed up the now current MUSA in a good light.

Let's hope the local pageant teams put our 2 fantastic reps in gowns that really showcase the ladies in the best light. This nonsense that Peter Elias did last year of getting a great gown and then assuming we will do well in EG was just too unprofession and foolish for someone of his caliber to be doing this far (in terms of time and experience)into pageantry.

Stack all our previous gowns and designers together, and hands down no one comes close to Bobby Ackberali - THE GUY UNDERSTANDS A WOMAN'S BODY MORE THAN ANY OF THESE EXPERTS COULD-IF EITHER PAGEANT HOUSE DOES NOT PUT OUR DELEGATE IN A BOBBY ACKBERALI DESGN THIS YEAR THEN THEY BETTER COME WITH THEIR A-GAME BECAUSE TRINIS WILL RIP THEM A NEW ONE IF WE DO NOT PLACE!
