I hv to say that the pageant company has learnt its lesson from last year and gabby looks stunning. When I first saw that iPhone pic on fb I literally said "WDMC Gabby looks stunning". She looks like she lost some weight and looks very trim especially around the waist area. Here hair, what can I say about that, who ever is doing the styling this yr kudos to you it looks great. Gabby really looks like Ly Jonaitis, the resemblance is uncanny. OK about the height issue Gabby I believe is 5`8, I personally do not see a problem since most of these young ladies lie about their heights and average around the 5"8 5"9 range. Miss Panama who is a huge favorite is 5"8 so. The Miss Jamaica pageant has turned into an international fiasco. I do not and do not endorse any boby bashing any delegates but I will say this to the Miss Jamaica fans - stop trying to drag our girls into this. The cheap pot shots about Wendy was an average looking Miss universe are uncalled for. I am sorry that miss Zack did not win but alas that is not our fault. This is the last time I will speak of this as I do not get into sparring matches. On to the issue at hand I only hv a few delegates that hv caught my eyes. A lot of these girls are photoshop queens. Still waiting for them to arrive before I make a Top 15 list. However, we all know that around 2008 that height began to play in much bigger role that it did before in terms of placement. Gabby is in fact 5'6"-5'7". Most of the online info indicates she is 5'7" but the Globalbeauties interview indicate that she is about 5'6.5". Regardless, I am really keeping my fingers crossed that the judges would like Gabby's look alot and she would advance to at least the top 8. Now C, after all these years I have to give you some props. I was wondering if Gabs lost any pic when I saw the iPhone photo but I could not tell. I always remember you saying Kenisha's legs were slim for MU06 when we on this board were all still very worried. So I am taking your word about Gab's weight loss as totally true... and yes I am relieved. Gabs was certainly not fat for the local final but it was obvious she needed to lose about 7-10 lbs and get that waist as tiny as possible. That being said, I hope that it has crossed the MUTT team to allow Gabby to NOT wear the MT&T sash for the evening gown competition in the final (and maybe in the prelims) if it takes away from her total figure. I hope no one pongs me for this but we have to be realistic, Gabby's torso is a bit shorter that the other big favorites for the title and I don't want her looking any shorter than she already is.
