with the attitude the genie had I could see Mulder *cutting a deal* by making a wish something like this "My wish will include freeing you but first you have to make it possible for Scully to have children." He knew he had to be specific and I could see that particular genie granting something like that if he had made a wish with a lot of details--like the one he had started to type. I would guess that he woule do this for no other reason than to get the upper hand with her after she made him use up two of his wishes for nothing. She didn't really have anything to lose (other than being a genie anymore which I got the impression that she really didn't want that job.)

The looks he gave Scully at the end when he glanced down was so cool--went too fast but were so caring and loving that I got the impression the second time around, that he was *expecting*
something. Maybe a baby at some point in time?????
