apparently, Mulder's decided to act on his suggestion to the auditor. We never saw Scully go back to her room, so the assumption is they did, indeed, share a room that night! If you're suffering any doubts that Scully is confused about her pregnancy, go look at the picture detoured has up at the Season 8 board of a "smiling through her tears" Scully from the final scene of "Requiem". It is a look of delighted amazement. You can tell she is cleary thinking "What a miracle! Somehow, despite being told that I was barren, Mulder and I managed to create a baby together while we were making love sometime during the past couple of months." As much as Scully might want a baby, if her pregnancy was the result of some sort of "kidnap Scully and implant her with an alien/human hybrid fetus without her being aware of it" scheme, I don't think she would look quite so happy!
