Subject: The Three Wishes episode, Je...I don't know the word or how to spell it...

I really enjoyed this one. I actually felt giddy after
watching an XF ep which I haven't in a while.

Vince really knows how to handle Mulder and Scully too.
And I really liked all the guest stars unlike Fight Club
last week which was full of some the worst performances
IMO. At first I thouight that Anson reminded me too much
of Phillip Padgett and I thought, 'can't they stay away
from this type of creepy, similar looking bearded guy?'

But then when he was interacting with his brother I
really liked them both. Especially Leslie. He was so
funny and so stupid! LOL on the Genie trying to clue him
in on what should have been his obvious wish.
"A solid gold wheelchair?"

The genie was really good too. Very likeable. A smart,
interesting character. Seems to me I've seen that actress
before.

Lots of good M&S interraction. DD and GA seemed to be
enjoying themselves with this one.
My one criticism is that I thought GA was playing it too
silly at times. In the beginning I thought it was really
odd that she was laughing at the poor man with his
destroyed mouth. As a doctor she should have clicked
into doctor mode. Instead she seemed to treat it like it
was hilarious and I thought that didn't fit. It was a bit
overdone with the autopsy/invisble guy scenes too but I
still kind of liked it. When Leslie said he wished for
his brother back I felt bad for Scully because I knew she
was about the lose the body she'd become so attached to!
It was an interesting twist to see her so excited about
proof of something SO strange. Very Mulder-like.
It's just that she seemed to be acting kind of the way
she did in Three of a Kind but in that one she was drugged
and had an excuse.
A litle overplayed but still fun.
Unlss there's some explanation for this. Scully said at
the end that she was pretty happy these days. Is there a
particular reason (a PERSON perhaps?) why she's in such
good spirits lately?! hee hee ;-)

I liked the special effects and makeup too. TXF has
seemed to had some problems with that lately. There's
been some cheesey looking stuff. Here I liked the effects
with the invisible guy running through town and then
later when he came back dead. He didn't look so good
then! Very funny result of Leslie's wish to have his
brother talk again...AHHHHHHHHHHH!

I LOVED Mulder's "OHH!" when Scully doubted her own
witnessing of the invisible body. Instead of a big long
spiel from Mulder talking about how she needs to learn to
believe he just gets exasperated with her and says "OHH!"
It was so cute! :-)

What did you all think?

det :-)
