I agree--the baby has to be Mulder's. I think that they have had their intimate *moments* shall we say. Since they both assumed she was "barren" they probably didn't feel the need for precautions. We have had plenty of hints that M and S have had some sort of a relationship--I loved his comment about "sharing a room" to the auditor (who I thought was an alien--still do). What I think happened was that the computer chip implant in her neck told her body to ovulate and a one in a million thing happened! Somehow I think that the Bounty Hunter had something to do with it. He healed Mulder's mother and certainly could have healed Scully somehow. One never knows where he will show up next. He rejected Scully--kept her from boarding his spaceship but took Mulder. Can't help wonder if the BH was behind everything.

As far as Alien DNA--somehow I still am having difficulty with that. I read somewhere that we humans use less than 50% of our brain's capacity. My question instead is what did Krychek (aka the Bounty Hunter or another alien?) do to Mulder to turn on the parts of his brain the doctors had "never seen activity" in before???

Loved this episode by the way--somehow I suspected she was pregnant from the first time she fainted. Loved the way Mulder looked at her--saw her in a new light as a mother, and said that he didn't want to lose her again. (Little did he know that HE was going to be lost!)
