Subject: Re: Brian's Vox "Teardrop" at the Hard Rock Vault
In reply to: fgwm 's message, "Re: Brian's Vox "Teardrop" at the Hard Rock Vault" on 19:43:50 01/16/13 Wed

The sitar was reported to have been seen by a neighbor burning on the bonfire at Brian's home the day after his death. It was supposedly tossed there by Tom Keylock, who claimed it was ordered by the family.

HOWEVER...now that I know the "missing" Teardrop was at the Hard Rock Cafe, perhaps the neighbor's reports of it burning into oblivion are "greatly exaggerated???" Since YOU weren't aware of it, and you certainly are a Brian aficionado, perhaps that too has been a misconception on my part??? It would be FABULOUS to find out that it's in someplace like the Brian Jones Museum, safe and sound. Considering how lovely it was, it would be awesome to debunk ALL of these dire legends about Brian's instruments. I wish Bernie had spoken about it sooner, but this "discovery" of the Teardrop has brought me new hope. :)
