Of course its Keiths guitar! This is another of the Stones' "Motown" songs..It was based on "my World Is Empty Without You"By The Supremes which was out about 5 or 6 months previously..Andrew Loog Oldham said this at Beatlefest a long time ago A funny story about this song from when I was 12, I had a friend who was going into the Seminary to become a priest(Which he never did)but he loved this song because Priests wear Black..I liked it myself but hadnt really connected strongly to The Stones which I did at 16..I love the way Brian gave the stones the Motown Sound on Xylophone, especially on 'Under My Thumb' on the original vinyl of "Got Live If You Want it" and "ride On Baby"I also think Brian Plays Sitar on "Street Fighting Man".I have also heard him play sitar with Jimi Hendrix on My Space. I still am cultivating my Brian Bunnet and want my hair to get very long like his was in early 1969. I unfortunately did not get to visit his grave, as I really dont know where it is or how to get there, perhaps the next time im in the UK Ill be able to. I couldnt even find my grandparents graves in Scotland..one last word, I always thought Under My Thumb was based on "Its The Same old song" by the 4 tops and "Satisfaction" is based on "nowhere to Run" by Martha and the Vandellas..i just think The rolling stones lost all their lustre without Brian, and have tried to sound at times like hes playing, but fail miserably..i was listening to 'hyde park live' and thought it was awful, they take one of my favorite songs, 'tumbling dice' and mangle it so bad it loses all its grace and beauty, what can i say? They ultimately ruin everything the more time goes by..Instead of "doom And Gloom" we deserve "cheer up and forget about everything thats depressing" I also picked up a nice hat in Glasgow. I hope all you Stones Alone are well and comfortable and we have a nice Autumn ahead Love and peace, your good buddy Bernard. Jajouka!
