Thank you for remembering Jan's name Lazlo, I'd forgotten over the years! Perhaps the fact she no longer carries the Thorogood name protects her somewhat from stigma.

I don't know why she would try to blame Keith, for heaven's sake. She must have been desperate. He's a bit too clueless an individual to be capable of anything more criminal than taking elicit drugs or blowing his nose on stage. I don't know if he ever did the latter, but having the courage to actually stab someone takes a lot of anger, and Keith is too laid back for such violent emotions. Maybe I'm not giving him enough credit, but he does seem a bit too pathetic to really hurt someone in that manner. He's more of a leave-him-alone-without-a-way-home sort of nasty guy, but violence...no way.
