You were never "out of whack". All opinions are welcome here on LARS. Message boards where only one opinion is allowed die quickly. I'm thinking that maybe you thought I was too harsh when I replied to your post the other day. If that's the case, I apologize, as it wasn't my intention.

It is my understanding that ALO had worked with (for?) Brian Epstein and it's pretty obvious he wanted to replicate the Beatles' mega success. It is a well-known fact that he didn't like Brian (I'm not sure whether the feeling was mutual, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was), probably because he couldn't control Brian the way he could Mick and Keith in the early days. Of course, that only lasted so long, and within a few years ALO found himself out on his sorry arse.

I think the reasons for Brian's downfall were many, but I'd bet a month's pay that ALO's obsession for boosting Keith at his expense was one of the factors. Of course, that's just another one of them opinions... ;)
