thanks for being here..the first time I heard of The Rolling Stones, I wasnt even into Rock and Roll yet, it was a little sticker on a Lamppost in Brooklyn That Said "The Rolling Stones are coming!" it was 1964 and I was 10. I remember them on the Hollywood Palace, All I remember is Mick with his houndstooth checked stuffed pants..I just thought he was weird. I remember satisfaction being a hit, and when I finally did become a fanatic about Rock and Roll I was 12 and 19th nervous Breakdown was a hit..I had no idea what a profound effect the Stones would have on me by 1969-1970..I remember the day Brian Died and hearing it on a car radio and reading about it in The New York Daily News...It was a high school friend who turned me onto The Stones, he had a Gibson Firebird and showed me some Stones songs,I had begun to play guitar in September of 1969..A lot of guys from my school saw the Stones At Madison Square Garden That Thanksgiving..ultimately, as I grew older, i realized how it would make me seem tough and cool to be like the stones, and It was The Space in Brians front teeth I Identified with the most as I had a gap as well..I had a lot of trouble in my life, but people always associated me with The Rolling Stones, I considered Myself lucky for that, and had a lot of fun over the years, playing their music, dancing to it,getting stoned to it, and brian is far from being a vague memory, but an integral part of my consciousness and my heart, I feel for all of them actually, but Am really grateful for all I learned about brian over the years from other fans, especially Here. I would love to send flowers but I dont even do that for my deceased friends or relatives, I cant afford it. So the more time passes, all these memories and influences become even sweeter, and Brian Jones will always stand out as one of the Most Elegant, Glamorous men I ever saw, and someone great to aspire to be like, no matter what anyone says or does. God Bless. Jajouka, Bernie
