That's a very interesting tale, Bernie. You were indeed young in 1964. I first fell for rock and roll when I was 8, but back then, it was Do-Wop, and most recording groups were just singers (a.k.a. The Diamonds, Del Vikings, The Platters, etc.). It was The Beach Boys and The Beatles that really made recording popular for "Self Service" groups who did their own music.

The "Group" culture was just hitting it's stride when the Stones came to San Bernardino. It's interesting that you mentioned a "gap" between Brian's front teeth. In fact, he really didn't have one. It LOOKED like a gap alright, (in fact, his mouth reminded me of a bunny rabbit) but it was a shadow caused by the angle of one tooth to the other. I think his mouth was too small for both of them to fit snuggly without one of them twisting. Try to find a really close-up shot of him with light shining directly onto the left side of his face and I'm sure you'll notice his teeth actually touch one another.
